Day 2
Swiss Chocolate Tour
The following day, you have breakfast at your hotel but make sure to leave some room for dessert! Because this morning, you get to dive deep into the delicious world of world-famous Swiss chocolate.
Your guide will be waiting in the hotel lobby to take you to the Carouge area, one of Geneva’s best-kept secrets, a beautiful district not far from the city center, also known as Little Italy. Carouge houses a very special chocolaterie, owned by masters of the delicious art. You can taste the best of the local treat and purchase some dainties to bring back home. Alternatively, we can arrange a chocolate workshop offering you a chance to make chocolate yourself, but this activity must be requested at least a month in advance, as it’s in high demand.
- Sightseeing: Carouge.
- Meals: breakfast & chocolate tasting.

GENEVA TRAVEL TIPS
– The public transport in Geneva is free for all visitors who booked an accomodation in the city. Just ask for a Transport Card at reception and enjoy free rides on buses, trams, and even yellow taxi boats.
– Geneva is not a budget friendly city and a small bottle of water can coast up to 3.5 EUR. Luckily, tap water here is very clean and perfectly drinkable, so feel free to take a reusable water battle with you and just refill it at your hotel.
– Alcohol is rather costly in Switzerland, however you can help your budget by taking advantage of the Happy Hour traditionally held in most of the hotel bars every day. Make sure to try the Swiss wine, as this fine drink is almost impossible to find outside of Switzerland.
