Day 1
Arrival & Geneva Sightseeing
Welcome to the city of Geneva, the most compact metropolis in the world and one of Switzerland’s most beautiful cities. A private driver will meet you at the train station/airport upon arrival and take you to your downtown hotel for check-in.
After a short break to catch your breath, you meet your local guide in the city center and set off on an exciting 2-hour tour covering the city’s must-sees. Keep in mind that this is a small-group activity limited to just six participants to ensure the best possible experience for you. Together with a small group of fellow travelers from all over the world, you will stop by Geneva’s most popular sights as well as enjoy the unique chance to see the city from a local’s perspective and discover some hidden gems often missed by tourists.
After the tour, you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2
Day Trip to Gruyères
This morning, you enjoy a delicious breakfast in your hotel and head back to the city center to meet your group. Together, you will have a very exciting day exploring the wonders of the nearby area!
Have a great time on a tour of Broc’s chocolate factory, which produces one of the most famous treats in Switzerland. After that, explore the lovely medieval village of Gruyere and its famous cheese factory, where you will learn about the local cheese production and have a chance to try scrumptious cheese fondu, another iconic Swiss calling card. And as a beautiful finale, enjoy a ride on the famous Panoramic Golden Express train on your way back to Geneva, admiring the stunning views of the Swiss countryside.
There is nothing planned after the day trip, so you are welcome to keep exploring Geneva on your own.

Departure
This is the last day of your Geneva getaway. A private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station, depending on your travel plans. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

GENEVA TRAVEL TIPS
– Switzerland wine is not only excellent but also really hard to get outside of the country. But keep in mind that one of the things that stand out as expensive even by Geneva’s stadards is alcohol. So if you want to try the local wine, it might be a good idea to stick to happy hours in the local bars.
– The tap water in Geneva is safe to drink and doesn’t differ from any bottled water you can find in any store. So make sure to pack your water bottle, refilling it at the hotel when you have a chance is not only great for your budget, but also for ecology.
– All travelers booking accomodations in Geneva are entitled to Geneva Transport Card, allowing to use the city’s public transport free of charge. Just ask for one at the reception of your hotel. and you are set to explore Geneva.
