Day 1
Family City Tour & Evening Cruise
Welcome to Porto, one of Portugal’s liveliest and most scenic cities! A private driver will meet you at the train station (or the airport, depending on your travel arrangements) and take you to a hotel in the city center to check-in.
Next, you head to the Fonte dos Leões to meet your gracious host for a fun kids-friendly city tour. includes an ice cream break in Cais de Gaia and a funicular ride from Gaia to Porto.
In the evening, we invite you on a memorable river cruise along the Douro River on a Rabelo Boat. During the cruise, you get to admire the beautiful city from the water and learn more about the history of Porto’s famous bridges.

Day 2
Ceramics Workshop / Cooking Class and Lunch at Local’s Home
Today you continue to enjoy the family weekend break, and we have two exciting activity options for you to choose from:
Option 1: Make Your Own Traditional Porto Tile
An experienced sculptor leads the workshop and provides all needed materials and careful guidance on the process, allowing you to become a true artist for a day. With the help of your guide, you will create a distinguished design and put the tile in the oven.
Option 2: Home Lunch & Pasteis de nata Cooking Class
Join a local family for a nice lunch and learn how to cook one of the most delicious Portuguese desserts, Pastel de Nata! After the cooking class, you are invited for three-course lunch filled with warmth, laughter, and delicious food. The Pasteis de Nata that you’ve made together will make an excellent dessert.

Day 3
Departure
This is the last day of your Porto getaway. Depending on your travel plans, a private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

PORTO TRAVEL TIPS
– Stunning Porto is the city of hills. Of course, it adds character to the city but also makes sightseeing a bit straining on your feet. Plus, the city’s historical center boasts picturesque cobbled streets, making them unsuitable for wearing high heels for longer than two minutes. As you can see, a pair of comfortable shoes is a must-thing to take with you on vacation.
– One of the most exciting places loved by grownups and children alike is Santo Inacio Zoo. It is home to more than 260 different animal species, including lions, tigers, giraffes, and penguins.
– If you are traveling with a toddler, keep in mind that while Porto’s cobbled streets are very picturesque, they are in no way stroller-friendly. Luckily, the historic center of the city is relatively small, but the journey won’t be without some bumps along the way.
