Day 1
Porto City Tour & Dinner in a Fado Restaurant
Welcome to the second-largest city in Portugal, picturesque Porto. A private driver will be waiting for your arrival at the station or the airport to take you to the centrally located hotel for check-in.
After a short break, you meet your guide near Fonte dos Leões, one of the city’s most famous symbols, and start your comprehensive tour of Porto’s best sights.
And in the evening, we invite you to enjoy the traditional sounds of Porto, the touching Fado music, during a beautiful dinner in a majestic historical venue. Your host is a food expert, winemaker, and Fado enthusiast who will be only happy to share his passion for the Portuguese culture with you.

Day 2
Day Trip to Douro Valley
Today, you pay a visit to the gem of the region, breathtaking Douro Valley, famous for the spectacular views of terraced vineyards and excellent wines.
You will visit two big region’s wineries where you will learn everything you need to know about the Portuguese wines, hear the story of the brands and find out what makes the region’s wines one-of-a-kind. The highlight is, of course, the tastings of the best reds and whites that the wineries have to offer.
No visit to Douro Valley is complete without a river cruise along the magnificent Duoro. So, after the tasting, you head to a jetty and set off on a 1-hour cruise. Enjoy the views, and the pleasant company as a modern boat takes you along the mighty river.

Day 3
Departure
This is the last day of your Porto getaway. A private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station, depending on your travel plans. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

PORTO TRAVEL TIPS
– Excellent wines are not the only delight of the Portuguese food scene. This traditional dishes of Portugal might not be able to brag the fame of the Spanish or Italian cuisine, but definitely not becasue they are less worthy of your attention. Make sure to treat yourself to francesinha, tripas, and the traditional grilled fish in the neighboring areas of Afurada and Matosinhos during your luxury getaway.
– If you want to get a taste of the authentic Portugal and are not afraid to step off the beaten path, head to Afurada, a little fishing village just outside of Porto. Enjoy its charming atmosphere with no crowds and stop for dinner in one of the local restaurants – the seafood is to die for.
– The small beautiful streets of Ribeira, Sé, and Miragaia are Porto’s hidden gems. They are perfect for an afternoon stroll, so make sure to check them out.
