Day 1
Local Beer Tour
Welcome to Munich, the inspiring capital of Bavaria and one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. A private driver will be waiting for your arrival at the rail station/airport to take you to your downtown hotel for check-in. After that, you have a few hours free to have a bit of rest after the trip or start exploring the city on your own.
And in the evening, we invite you to dive into the exciting world of traditional Bavarian beer. You start with a visit to the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum, where you will learn about the history of brewing, what makes german beer so special, and what it takes for a local brewery to gain the proud right to serve their beer at Oktoberfest. Next, you head to a classic local beer hall where you get to enjoy a local beer and a plate of traditional, hearty food.

Day 2
Day trip to Southern Bavaria
Today, you join a group of like-minded travelers and venture beyond the city limits of Munich. This day is dedicated to exploring the treasures of Southern Bavaria.
The first stop on your journey is the world-famous castle of Neuschwanstein, one of the most beautiful places in Europe that breathe magic. An experienced guide will take you around the castle, and you will see that the luxurious interiors are just as impressive as the striking facade.
Next, you head to Linderhof Royal Palace. The Baroque building is one of the most refined and stylistically complex ensembles of the 19th century.
After that, you head to the lovely town of Oberammergau, famous for its performance of the Passion Play in the theatre of the same name that happens every ten years.
After a tour, you drive back to Munich and are free to spend the evening at leisure.

Departure
This is the last day of your Munich getaway. Depending on your travel plans, a private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

MUNICH TRAVEL TIPS
– Keep in mind that paying via a debit/credit card in Munich isn’t always an option. While some big touristy venues allow it, the only-cash policy is established in most places outside of the city center. So make sure to always have some Euros on you during the trip.
– Unfortunately, the drinking fountains are not very widespread in Munich. There are quite a few fountains scattered around the city, but don’t expect to see them on every corner. But the good news is that the tap water is perfectly drinkable. If you want to save some money and help to reduce the amount of plastic consumption, feel free to take a reusable water bottle with you and refill it at your hotel.
– Jaywalking and walking on a bicycle lane are animadverted in Munich. If the locals see you doing any of this, they won’t be shy to shame you loudly and thoroughly.
