ZURICH TRAVEL TIPS
– One of the best ways to get around Zurich is by tram. The city’s network is very developed, and you’ve probably seen pictures of the famous blue tram circling the city. Just keep in mind that traditionally, the second car is reserved for people with strollers and wheelchairs, so it’s better to avoid it if you can.
– The stunning city of Zurich is perfect for exploring on foot, so make sure to pack a pair of comfortable shoes as you will be walking quite a lot during your solo getaway. And keep in mind that while the amazing cobblestone streets of the Old Town are very beautiful, they are not high-heel friendly in the slightest.
– Make sure to bring a universal adapter on your Zurich break. Switerland uses Type J outlets, which are not very popular in continental Europe, which mostly uses Type A plugs.
