PARIS TRAVEL TIPS
– F. Scott Fitzgerald once said that France has the only two things toward which we drift as we grow older – intelligence and good manners. And while we think that France has much more to offer, Mr. Fitzerland is right about manners. “Bonjour”, “au revoir”, and “merci” are the words you absolutely need to know and make sure to use when appropriate. Not that many things are considered more rude than entering a shop without greeting or not thanking a service provider for their time.
– Paris is the city of high fashion, but nothing can replace your favorite pair of comfortable and worn-out sneakers during the city tours when you need to walk a lot.
– Some of the city’s top museums, including the world-famous Louvre, offer free entry on the first Sunday of the month.
