Day 1
Arrival & Florence’s Love Storie Tour
Welcome to Florence, a city with an unparalleled cultural heritage and one of the most stunning destinations in Italy. A private driver will meet you at the airport or train station upon arrival and take you to your downtown hotel for check-in.
After a short break to catch your breath, you head to the city center, where a local guide will be waiting to take you on a romantic tour of Florence. Listen to the stories of the famous lovers who lived there, learn the local myths, and enjoy the historical gossip as you explore this remarkable city. Visit such famous landmarks as the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio and see them in a completely different light!
There is nothing planned after the tour, so you’re free to keep exploring the city on your own and check out what the local food scene has to offer.
- Sightseeing: Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Santa Maria Soprarno, and Bianca Cappello Palace.
- Meals: not included.

FLORENCE TRAVEL TIPS
– If you see a restaurant with a flashy sign in English and a host overly enthusiastically trying to invite you inside, this is a place you should pass by. To enjoy authentic cuisine, you will have to venture off the beaten path. Look for a restaurant that doesn’t have the combo menu (primo + secondo + bibite) and preferably with a menu just in Italian. This is how you know you’ve hit the jackpot.
– Oltrarno Neighborhood, settled beyond the Arno River, is not only very beautiful, but also much less touristy than the city center, making it a great place to explore. But we have to warn you that it’s quite hilly, and walking the streets of the place for a few hours can feel like a proper workout.
– The views from the top of Giotto’s Campanile are in no way inferior to the panoramas you can enjoy from the top of Bruneleschi’s Dome, but the waiting line is usually shorter.
