MUNICH TRAVEL TIPS
– At first glance, Munich might seem a bit on the side of being conservative. Every street and building breathes culture, the architectural gems are all elegantly beautiful, and there is something genuinely dignified about the city. But it doesn’t mean that the capital of Bavaria doesn’t have an edgy side if you know where to look. And one of the things to keep an eye out for is terrific street art scattered around Munich.
– Keep in mind that the hard currency is king in Bavaria. While a few supermarkets and big outlets are perfectly happy to accept your payment via a credit/debit card, the majority of restaurants and shops work only with cash, so make sure that you always have Euros on you to get around.
– While Munich, unfortunately, doesn’t offer free admission to the local attractions on Sundays, most state museums reduce the cost of the ticket to 1 EUR, which is also not a bad deal.
