Day 1
Family City Tour & Flamenco Evening
Welcome to Madrid, the amazing capital of Spain and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe! Upon arrival, a private driver will meet you at the airport or the train station and take you to your comfortable hotel in the city center for check-in.
After a short break to catch your breath, you head to the city center to meet your local guide, who will take you around the most famous sights of the city. The tour around Madrid’s highlights and hidden gems will take about 2.5 hours, but don’t worry, it’s put together with the comfort of the little travelers in mind and will feature local treats for the whole family, exciting stories, and fun activities that will keep kids and adults entertained.
And in the evening, we invite you to enjoy the authentic sounds of Spain — fierce flamenco — right in the heart of the city. After the unforgettable 1-hour show accompanied by a drink, you have the evening free.

Day 2
Prado Museum & Family Cooking Class
Today, you continue to explore the rich Spanish culture, and start by visiting one of the most famous museums in the world, the Prado museum.
A professional historian will get your children excited about the Spanish art. The tour of Prado masterpieces is carefully desined to appeal to the whole family, and has nothing to do with dry data or boring dates. Your host will do make the artworks come alive with vivid storytelling and makign connection to your family experiences at home.
And after the tour, we invite you to a family cooking class with a wonderful Spanish grandma. She will teach you about the traditional flavours of Spain, and together you will prepare a delicious meal based on the old family recipies, followed by a wonderful lunch together.

Departure
This is the last day of your Madrid getaway. A private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station, depending on your travel plans. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

MADRID TRAVEL TIPS
– While Plaza Mayor is surely a place you shouldn’t miss in Madrid, resist the temptation to stop for a coffee in one of its cafes. As you can imagine, they are terribly overpriced, and the food quality leaves a lot to be desired. Instead, head to Casa Revuelta, a bar just around the corner from the famous plaza, to try its famous bacalao or go to Bodegas Ricla for their amazing tapas.
– Tapa is sure one of the best things to come out of Madrid! If you order a drink in one of the local cafes or restaurants, you will almost always get a snack to go with it completely free of charge. Don’t get us wrong, you won’t get a plate of paella, but you can count on some cheese or a few slices of the delicious cured meat to go with your drink.
– You can visit a lot of Madrid’s museums for free if you come during certain time periods throughout the week. For example, the prado Museum is free from Monday to Saturday from 6–8 p.m.
