Day 1
Family City Tour & Museum of Illusions
Welcome to Zagreb, the underrated gem of Croatia. This city boasts a unique atmosphere and is a must-visit place for anyone who wants to explore the wonderful country. Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting at the station/airport to take you to your centrally located hotel for check-in.
After a short break, you head to the city center to meet your guide, who will take you on a kids-friendly tour around Zagreb’s most famous sights. Your host has a lot of experience organizing exciting tours that will keep adults and children entertained.
And after lunch, we invite you to the Museum of Illusions. This wonderful place where nothing is what it appears to be is a fantastic experience for all generations, a delightful adventure and an educational tour promising lots of fun to all the family members.

Day 2
Family Cooking Class
The following day, you have the first half of the day free. And in the evening, a local host invited you to join her in her home for a family cooking class during which you will learn how to cook the traditional Croatian dishes. The recipes were carefully passed through the generations and are unlike anything you can find in nearby restaurants. The three-course menu depends on the fresh ingredients available on the market nearby and the seasonality.

Day 3
Departure
This is the last day of your Zagreb getaway. Depending on your travel plans, a private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

ZAGREB TRAVEL TIPS
– If you are planning a family getaway to Zagreb with a small child, the good news is that, unlike quite a few European capitals, the city is pram friendly! Some beautiful cobbled streets in the Upper Town might cause a bumpy ride, but in general, the city is very family-travel friendly, and you can find a lot of small playgrounds scattered around it.
– Unlike Munich or Porto, most places in Zagreb accept credit/debit cards. However, we still advise you to always have some cash in local currency, Kunas, on you. It’s great for tipping, paying in old-school market stalls, and generally “just in case.”
– One of the beauties of Zagreb is that the city is meant for strolling and exploring on foot. Make sure to pack a pair of comfortable shoes to avoid the situation when you have to deny yourself the pleasure because of the sore feet.
