DUBROVNIK TRAVEL TIPS
– Dubrovnik is a beautiful city. Well, it’s damn gorgeous if we are being honest. But it’s also insanely crowded during the summer months, which makes it harder to appreciate its good looks and unique vibes. In July, the number of people on the streets is suffocating. So we highly advise you to avoid going in the middle of the tourist season and choose either May or September for your adventure.
– Even though Croatia is a part of the European Union, it’s national currency is not the Euro, but the Croatian Kuna. And you need to make sure that you always have some banknotes on hand, as not all venues in the city don’t accept payments by debit/credit cards.
– Sandy beaches in Croatia are scarce, and, unfortunately, Dubrovnik is not an exception. To protect your feet, you can purchase sea shoes in almost any supermarket in the city. Are they fashionable? Nope. Will your feet thank you? Hell yes.
