LISBON TRAVEL TIPS
– Please, keep in mind that even with transfers arranged, sightseeing requires a lot of walking, so wearing comfortable shoes is a matter of outmost importance. Plus, Lisbon is a stunning city boasting a lot of charming cobbled streets and beautiful corners away from the touristy districts, and there is no better way to discover them than by foot.
– We can never tire of repeating that that having plenty of cash on hand is essential when traveling Europe. Cards are an option in some places, but significantly more venues can accept only payments in cash.
– Don’t eat in touristy restaurants. Food is overprices and you and taste is hardly what can be described as authentic. Head to Rua de Duque instead. This beautiful side street is favored by the locals, and houses dozens of great cafes where you can try what the traditional Portugues favors are really like.
