Day 1
Venice City Tour & Tapas and Wine Evening
Welcome to the city of Venice, the gem of Italy and the dream city for so many! Upon arrival, you have a water transfer to your downtown hotel for check-in.
After a short break to catch your breath, you head to the city center to join a small group of like-minded travelers and begin your tours of Venice’s most iconic sights: Saint Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. A local guide will take you inside these remarkable places, share plenty of interesting facts about the history of Venice, and share their passion for this remarkable destination.
Right after the city tour, you head to the nearby meeting point, where a guide will be waiting to take you on a Tapas and Wine tour around offbeat Venice. Try the authentic local food, learn more about the Venetian wine culture, and see the city beyond its touristy side!
After the food tour, you have the rest of the day free to keep exploring the city on your own.

Day 2
Murano & Burano Islands
This morning, after a delicious breakfast in your hotel, you head to the city center to meet your guide and a small group of travelers from all over the world. All together, you escape the nose and crowds of Venice and set off to explore the famous islands of Murano and Burano.
See what life in Venice was like before it became a tourist center, and see the local artisans practicing the traditional crafts of the region, carefully preserved for centuries. Learn about the art of glass blowing on the island of Murano, see the skilled lacemakers at work on Burano, and follow in the footsteps of Michelangelo himself, before returning back to Venice.
After the day truo, you have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3
Departure
This is the last day of your Venice getaway. A private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station, depending on your travel plans. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

– Venice’s iconic narrow, winding streets can feel a bit claustrophobic even when they are not packed with tourists. If this is the issue, make sure to avoid traveling in the middle of the tourist season, as the throngs in July and August are so thick that they can severely aggravate the issue.
– You will walk a lot during your getaway, so make sure to bring comfortable shoes. And make sure they are water-resistant, you never know when the streets will be flooded.
