Day 1
Barcelona Sightseeing & Evening Food Tour
Welcome to stunning Barcelona, the city of Gaudi’s masterpieces! Upon arrival, a private driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your luxury hotel right in the city center for check-in.
And after a short break, you have a short transfer to La Rambla to meet your local guide, who will take you on a 3-hour private tour of Barcelona’s must-see sights. The history of Barcelona is your host’s passion, so you can rest assured that you won’t just learn about the basic highlights, but also discover some amazing hidden gems and be able to enjoy the city from a local’s perspective.
After the tour, you have a transfer back to your hotel and enjoy a few hours to explore the city on your own. And in the evening, we invite you to enjoy the best of Catalan cuisine! An experienced driver will take you to meet your host in the city center, so you can begin your tour of the authentic Spanish flavors. Make sure to bring your hunger, as you will get to try 10 different foods and drinks in various hand-picked venues loved by locals.
When the food tour is over, you have a transfer back to your hotel, where you can enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 2
Day Trip to Dali’s Museum & Costa Brava
Today, you enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Together, you head to one of the most magical places in Spain, the Salvador Dali Museum, set in the old theater.
It proudly displays the collection of works by Salvador Dali, including his personal collection. The genius artist himself is buried in the crypt under the stage! After a visit to this remarkable place, your guide will take you to a beautiful fishing village on the Costa Brava for lunch.
And after lunch, you head back to Barcelona and enjoy the rest of the day free to explore the city on your own.

Departure

BARCELONA TRAVEL TIPS
– While La Rambla is surely a place you shouldn’t miss on your getaway to Barcelona, beware of the tourist trap restaurants dominating this famous street. Unfortunately, the excellent location is the only thing to sing praises of, as the food is terribly overpriced and doesn’t have much to do with the authentic Spanish flavors. It’s better to head a few streets below and choose a venue there.
– Sangria is a famous Spanish drink, especially popular in the summer, but it’s surprisingly not in high demand in Barcelona. The locals prefer a glass of chilled cava, a type of sparkling wine, to go with their dinner.
– While payment by card is widely accepted in Barcelona, we advise you to always have some cash in euros on you. Some places will accept a car only if the transaction is over 15 euros, which might be quite inconvenient if you stopped for a cup of coffee.
