Day 1
Arrival & Family City Tour
Welcome to picturesque Barcelona, the city Picasso considered his muse. Upon arrival, a private driver will take you to your hotel in the city center, where you can enjoy a short break to catch your breath after the trip.
After that, your family heads to the city center, where you meet your local guide and begin a sightseeing tour of all the city’s must-sees. Don’t worry, there will be no boring lectures or dry facts, your host will turn Barcelona into a playground to keep the young travelers engaged and entertained as they learn about this remarkable city.
There is nothing planned after the tour, so you are free to keep exploring the city on your own.

Day 2
Optional Activity & Family Cooking Class
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in your hotel and prepare for the exciting day ahead! In the first half of the day, we’ve prepared two activity options you can choose from:
Option 1: Sailing Cruise
Enjoy a midday sailing cruise on a comfortable yacht! Let yourself relax, admiring the stunning views of Barcelona from the water and savoring a glass of local cava. And don’t forget your swimwear! If the weather and the water temperature permit, you can go for a swim in the Mediterranean Sea.
Option 2: Artsy Family Tour
Join a professional painter for an exciting tour of the Fundació Miró gallery! Begin your tour with a scenic funicular ride to the very top of Montjuc Mountain. Then, head for the famous museum, where adults can enjoy a tour of the amazing works housed there while children will have fun on a scavenger hunt. As icing on the cake, your host will teach the kids a drawing exercise surrealist painters used to do and offer to create their own art project!
And in the evening, we invite you to a fun cooking class with dinner at a loca’s home. An experienced chef will teach your kids (and parents, if they feel like joining) how to make the most iconic dishes of Spanish cuisine, such as paella and pan de tomate, sharing his expertise and passion for cooking.
After dinner, you have nothing planned.

Departure
This is the last day of your Barcelona getaway. A private driver will meet you in a hotel lobby and take you to the airport or a train station, depending on your travel plans. We wish you a safe trip back home and can’t wait to start working on your next weekend break.

BARCELONA TRAVEL TIPS
– Your kids will absolutely love churos, sweet dough fried till golden brown, topped with lots of sugar, and served with thick, velvety chocolate sauce. There are other varieties of this traditional Spanish treat, such as with caramel or custard fillings, and they are all insanely good.
– If you are planning your getaway for the summer, be prepared for the heat. We mean it! The temperature in July can reach up to 30 degrees, so sun protection, hats, and sunglasses are absolutely required for a trouble-free city break.
– It might be tempting to take advantage of the free entrance to the museums on Sunday, but you are not alone in this temptation. The lines during the period of free entrance are huge, and it can easily take hours till you get inside, so we don’t recommend giving in to the temptation.
