Neuschwanstein Castle & Kempten Christmas Market
The next morning, you have breakfast, meet your host in the hotel lobby, and set off on an exciting day trip to explore the gems of the nearby area.
Of course, you start with one of the most beautiful places in Europe, the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle. MUNICH CHRISTMAS TRAVEL TIPS
– The city of Munich takes Christmas very seriously, and one of the most anticipated annual events is the launch of a special holiday tram. Every year, a beautifully decorated vintage tram begins its service at the end of November. It circles around the city, passing popular tourist attractions and everyone on board is welcome to help themselves to some warm gluhwein and cookies.
– The beauty and splendor of Munich’s Christmas markets are renowned worldwide, and the city hosts dozens of incredible winter fairs. And each of the famous markets is worth stopping by to enjoy the vibes, eat your weight in candid almonds, and warm up with a mug of spicey gluhwein. However, if you want to spice things up, head to the Medieval Christmas Market, where you can drink rum out of goblets, buy authentic drinking horns, and enjoy the performance of the costumed jugglers and minstrels.
